Location: Hybrid (Head office based in East Lancashire )

Type: Full Time, flexible approach to hours required including some evening work

Salary: circa £45- 49k dependant on experience.

Chamber Business Training is part of East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce and a recognised leader in Procurement and Supply Chain Management Training, specialising in Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) qualifications.

Chamber Business Training were awarded 3 star study centre status ‘CIPS Centre of Excellence’ in 2013. Currently training over 500 students through the full CIPS learning ladder, we consistently achieve outstanding results, achieving pass rates above the Cips national average with many merits, distinctions and have received international CIPS awards for our students. Job Summary

We are looking for someone special to fit seamlessly into our team and the Chamber of Commerce with shared values and a passion for team and student success. A talented, dedicated and experienced MCIPS, Chartered Procurement Professional who would be excited to take on this challenge & work with a brilliant tutor & study centre team. Making a difference to our students CIPS journey is an essential, but there is so much more you can do and bring to the table. hat derives from your own personal development and CPD.  You must also be conversant with the current CIPS syllabus, although every support will be given and you will also benefit from our groundbreaking new student resources.

Key Responsibilities

The Cips Tutor is responsible and accountable for:

  • Ensuring a high standard and consistent approach to the teaching and training delivery within allocated CIPS programmes.
  • Deliver a mixture of face to face and virtual tuition- days afternoons, some evenings required.
  • Supporting the wider team in creating and delivering a bespoke training course for its clients.
  • Communicating across the wider tutor pool, before, after and during each allocated programme to share reflections, learning and escalating outcomes.
  • Being a point of contact for any teaching and learning related issues arising within allocated programmes and reporting to the Business and Training Director as and when needed.
  • Updating future course materials for allocated programmes including PowerPoint slides, forums, blogs etc. as well as any issues that emerge as being newly relevant to the profession
  • Providing advice, support, and guidance to learners for subject and content specific queries and those relating to assessments for allocated programmes.
  • Supporting the Cips Business Training operations team with recruitment, contacting of students and updating on student progressions.
  • Manage up to 15 distance learner students providing support across a 24-month programme.
  • Attending Cips and other relevant conferences when required, representing Cips Business Training in a professional and ethical manner.
  • To deliver virtual taster sessions to prospective new clients.

Our new in-house tutor will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality CIPS training following the CIPS Learner journey and specific schemes of work from each taught module. They will also be responsible for the input into the development of all training programmes ensuring the high standards of delivery and customer service required by CIPS Business Training are attained.
